Ginger Kessler has been in the IT industry for close to 25 years in both sales and marketing. She is a seasoned marketing professional with experience in the High Tech industry employed by Fortune 1000 and growth firms to market and to sell to government and commercial customers. She has had extensive achievements in delivering revenue producing marketing programs, aligning with senior sales executives, developing alliances with market leaders and resellers, creatively expanding marketing budgets, building and leading highly effective teams, and bridging cross functional organizations to design and implement new marketing and sales technologies to deliver and track successful marketing campaigns for both reseller and direct sales organizations.

Ginger is currently the Avnet Product Marketing Manager focused on NetApp Public Sector and is based just outside of Washington, D.C. In her role, Ginger works directly with the top Avnet Federal partners and NetApp to develop marketing plans to generate demand. Before joining Avnet a year ago, Ginger headed up the NetApp Americas Field Marketing organization for 4 years and has been in marketing leadership positions with SGI, Sybase and Microlog. She began her career with IBM as a sales representative.

Ginger is married, has two grown daughters and loves to read, walk, bike, and entertain.
