Liz LaRosa is vice president, public sector industry strategy & marketing at Oracle Corporation. Her primary responsibilities are to drive the overall vision, awareness, and thought leadership and demand for Oracle solutions in the public sector globally. Liz has over 20 years of marketing and sales experience in the public sector industry.
Prior to Oracle, Liz was public sector marketing manager at IBM where she was responsible for public sector market management and execution for IBM Software Group including all software brands (DB2, Lotus, Tivoli, WebSphere, Rational). Liz was awarded “IBM Marketing Professional of the Year” in 2003.
Prior to joining IBM, Liz was director of marketing communications for the federal government region at Digital Equipment Corporation, responsible for overall field marketing department operations. At Digital, she also held other public sector roles in business development, program management, sales management and sales. She was named one of the “Outstanding Young Woman of America” in 1997. Liz received her MBA and BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration) from The George Washington University, in Washington, DC.
