Peggy McShane

Peggy McShane has more than 20 years experience in the healthcare sector, and is currently the business owner of Net New Growth, LLC – a strategic marketing consulting firm providing strategy, outreach, and business development services to commercial, public sector and non-profit health clients. Ms. McShane's work includes market research, strategic account planning, and consulting in Health IT.

Prior to starting Net New Growth, Ms. McShane was a key member in the senior leadership team during the launch of Booz Allen Hamilton's Global Health business, where she leveraged her domain expertise to provide solutions to business challenges across multiple segments of healthcare. Prior to her work with Booz Allen Hamilton, Peggy was the Director of Medical Records Departments at Inova Health Systems in northern Virginia, where she chaired several Medical Staff Committees and led JCAHO accreditation activities.

Ms. McShane holds a M.S. degree in Information Management from Marymount University and a B.S. degree in Health Records Administration from York College of Pennsylvania. She currently serves as the Vice President/President Elect of the Health Information Management Systems Society (HIMSS) National Capital Area (NCA) Chapter and the Co-Chair of the HIMSS Diversity Business Roundtable.
