Vice President of Marketing
NIC
Chris Neff manages the marketing, advertising, communications, and investor relations functions for NIC (NASDAQ: EGOV), a Kansas City-based company that helps governments, businesses, and citizens communicate more effectively by putting essential services on the Internet. NIC currently operates official Web sites and eGovernment applications for 21 states and hundreds of local governments in the United States.
Prior to joining NIC in July 2000, Chris developed branding strategies and restaurant marketing programs for the Coca-Cola Company in Atlanta. At MCI Communications in Phoenix, Chris was the product manager for several consumer services, including the MCI Paging, MCI PrePaid Card, and MCI Local brands. Chris began his career as an on-air cable television broadcaster and producer in Detroit.
A frequent speaker on branding and marketing strategy, Chris is also a professional commercial voice-over artist and radio host for a National Public Radio member station in Utah. He received an MBA in international business from the Thunderbird School of Global Management and a BA in communications from the University of Michigan.
