Elizabeth Pemmerl serves as Vice President for NIC Technologies. NIC currently manages official government Web sites, online services, and secure payment processing for 24 states and more than 3,000 Federal, state, and local agencies nationwide. Pemmerl focuses on NIC's engagement in the Federal marketplace, particularly related to self-funded eGovernment contracts. She is responsible for NIC's Pre-Employment Screening Program (www.psp.fmcsa.dot.gov) a national driver safety online service for the U.S. Department of Transportation, Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration. Prior to joining NIC’s Federal team, Pemmerl led marketing efforts for RI.gov, NIC’s Rhode Island subsidiary, and worked for the state of Rhode Island.
