Kim Roman has over 26 years of experience leading successful strategic marketing and branding initiatives for customers in industry, associations, government, and private sectors. Currently, Ms. Roman is Vice President of Marketing and Communications for Apptis, a systems integrator and IT solutions provider offering agile and reliable solutions and services to government and industry. In this role, Ms. Roman manages all external marketing, media, public relations, and advertising as well as internal communications and marketing activities, events, and campaigns.

Previously, Ms. Roman served as Principle of Taylor Consulting, providing strategic support and integrated marketing for nonprofit and commercial clients including National Park and Recreation Association, the Armed Forces Veteran Homes Foundation, SAIC, and Northrop Grumman. In addition, she founded two companies to meet the growing demand for full service direct marketing companies, Johnson Art Studios and The Final Product (TFP). Johnson Art Studios, an art and graphic design studio was formed to support TFP clients as well as other nonprofit agencies. TFP was instrumental in developing the direct mail production service market as well as the consulting end of direct marketing for non-profits, associations, political committees, and Fortune 500 companies.

Ms. Roman is involved in the American Marketing Association, the CMO Council, and the International Association Business Communicators. She is a published author and guest lecturer for the undergraduate Marketing and Communications course at Johns Hopkins University.
