Junior Designer - O’Keeffe & Company
O’Keeffe & Company, an integrated marketing firm, seeks an in-house designer to support high-tech clients. The Junior Designer must demonstrate effectiveness as a team player and possess strong attention to detail. There is great opportunity for growth and advancement in the expanding creative department.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop, recommend, and implement visual designs and layouts for Web sites, corporate branding, and other communications vehicles
- Design e-mail layouts
- Design collateral including: brochures, folders, pamphlets, banners, etc.
- Create logos and identity materials
- Support internal design needs for PowerPoint decks, posters, event programs, etc.
- Set and meet critical deadlines within design and execution process
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in design or art
- One to three years graphic design experience
- Agency experience preferred
- Proficient in the latest Macintosh/PC based Graphic Software to include: Dreamweaver, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, Adobe CS2, Quark Xpress, Flash, CSS, PHP/ASP
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work under tight deadlines
- Understanding of image optimization and web animation
- Inspired and enthusiastic attitude
- Ability to incorporate stakeholder/user feedback and design critiques
- Ability to multitask and self-manage deadlines of competing projects
- Understanding of the creative process in a collaborative environment
- Solid portfolio required. Resumes must include URLs or PDFs of work
