Marketing Communications Specialist - General Dynamics Information Technology
The Marketing Communications Specialist will be responsible for:
- Writing press releases and developing supporting documentation, including pitches, as well as distribution and outreach plans
- Maintaining the public Web site
- Coordinating responses for media queries
- Crafting marketing copy for collateral
- Developing advertisements
- Coordinating sponsorships and speaking opportunities, as well as media outreach and interviews
- Traveling regularly to tradeshows and remote office locations
- Developing and executing integrated strategic marketing and public relations campaigns in support of business development efforts
- Serving as communications liaison for business unit
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong project management ability
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Solid writing skills, including significant technical writing experience
- Self-starter, ability to perform with little instruction
- Ability to multi-task
- Knowledge of the government/defense industry highly preferred
- Proficiency in Associated Press (AP) style
Must be eligible to work in the United States.
