Marketing Services Manager - Northrop Grumman Information Technology
Position description: Develops and manages strategic advertising plans for the IT sector and business groups, including all print, online, radio and television media buys. Serves as the liaison with the corporate advertising agency. Responsible for all thought leadership Communications activities for the IT sector to include creating and managing the IT speakers bureau, coordinating and managing all speaking opportunities for IT sector executives; coordinating and managing all marketing-related sponsorship activity; managing all external clearances for papers, presentations, and publications; developing and managing IT sector white papers and case studies; developing and producing all IT sector marketing collateral; and managing the production of all IT sector videos. Approves all business group marketing collateral. Serves on the IT sector branding council and coordinates council activity. This position includes budget planning, forecasting, and management. This position also serves as a liaison to the business groups and provides project support and oversight.
Experience
A minimum of 10 years of Communications, Marketing Communications or Advertising experience is required. Candidate must have prior experience in advertising, video production and managing budgets. The ability to think strategically, and communicate and present pursuasively, are essential for this position. The candidate must demonstrate marketing-style writing skills.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing or equivalent is required.
Job Location and Travel
Position is located at the IT sector headquarters in McLean, Va. Occasional travel is expected for job requirements.
