Membership
GovMark Council Membership Criteria
GovMark Council exists as a peer-to-peer education/networking group for senior-level technology marketing executives who are employed at technology products and services companies, or at government agencies. We grow our organization organically through relationships that already exist among established communities.
Membership decisions are made by GovMark Council's executive director. Candidates are senior-level marketing executives who meet the following guidelines:
- Work for information technology product and software, hardware, and integrator providers that market to Federal, state, and local governments
- Pay the $500 annual membership fee or $1500 group membership fee
GovMark Council grants public-sector membership privileges to individuals who meet the criteria outlined below:
- Work for Federal, state, and local governments in a public affairs or marketing/outreach capacity
- Pay the $500 annual membership fee or $1500 group membership fee
A "service provider" would fall into one of the following industry groups:
- Executive recruiters
- Salespersons, account executives, and business development representatives
- Law firms
- Accounting and consulting
- Printers and publishers
- Marketing, public relations, market research, or other consultants
- Real estate
- Banking
- Other service-related firms
