The Next Big Thing – Consumer and Experiential Marketing Trends Can Keep Government Marketing Tactics Fresh
Federal IT marketing is constantly evolving. Traditional outreach strategies are things of the past as government rapidly embraces new media and 2.0 tactics – tactics that the commercial and consumer marketplace have already tested and incorporated. So what’s evolving in the rapidly changing consumer marketing space and how might we take these tactics into our government marketing programs? Frank Bracken will lead an engaging discussion on ways to add a little consumer “juice” to your marketing power playbook. We’ll discuss innovative marketing tactics that might soon be applied in the Federal space, including experiential and relationship marketing and reaching customers through new and sensory ways.

Divided Government: Federal Opportunities in 2011
The Federal Government technology market continues to face significant challenges to long term growth. Given the divided government dynamic and the focus on deficit cutting politics, there will likely be a new urgency to right-size government operations, drive government efficiency/accountability, and create more targeted technology modernization activities. This presentation will highlight some of the major short/long term challenges associated with the Federal Government market and identify key areas of targeted technology opportunities (cloud, healthcare, cybersecurity).

Generation Now – Get Hip to Y They Buy...
It's impossible to swing a cat in D.C. without hearing about what Gen Y wants – Y, Y, why? The Federal workforce is not all generation Y. Quite the opposite. Of total Feds, the majority (57%) are baby boomers. Next it's Xers – 27% of govies. Importantly, as IT solutions marketers, we're interested in reaching decision makers – and today, that ain't Gen Y...
Based on a new MeriTalk study that revisits the 2006 "Here's Why The Customer Is Not Important" research with a generational twist, this presentation will provide new insight on who makes Uncle Sam's IT buying decisions and where they go for the download. Pull up a chair to learn who's buying, why, and what's changed since 2006.

Peer Best Practices: Integrating Social Media into Your Marketing Programs
Social media isn't the next big thing – but learning to use it effectively may be, as many marketers are still trying to crack the social media code. How can marketers effectively integrate social media into their programs to provide real return on investment and other hard metrics? With continued tight budgets ahead, how can we effectively use these platforms to boost sales and increase brand exposure?
