Inaugural GovMarks Awards Honor Industry’s Best Marketers

GovMark Council Announces Award Winners: Anteon, DataPath, and Indiana State Department of Health

Alexandria, Virginia, May 25, 2006 - GovMark Council, a not-for-profit forum that facilitates education and networking for senior-level marketing executives who serve the government Information Technology and Telecommunications (IT&T) market, today announced the winners of the GovMarks Awards. The awards, hosted by the GovMark Council, represent the first initiative to honor excellence in government technology marketing.

The GovMark Council presented awards in three categories - Department of Defense, Federal Civilian, as well as State and Local Government. In addition, GovMark Council presented a "Best Overall Marketing Program" award to the highest-ranked marketing program of any category.

    Department of Defense Marketing Program
  • Winner: DataPath, Inc. - "DataPath Re-Branding Initiative"
  • Honorable Mention: ManTech - "ManTech Employee Recruitment Program"

    State & Local Marketing Program
  • Winner: Indiana State Department of Health - "INShape Indiana"
  • Honorable Mention: Northrop Grumman Information Technology - "Commonwealth of Virginia, Public-Private Partnership"

  • DataPath, Inc. - "DataPath Re-Branding Initiative"
