JUDGING CRITERIA

A panel of judges, comprised of government and industry leaders (both marketers and non-marketers), will review all GovMarks nominations. The judges will consider the following evaluation criteria:
  • Strategic approach to government marketing, indicated in the research and planning stages of submitted project
  • Creativity and innovation as demonstrated by the originality of solutions to the marketing challenges
  • Potential for generating widespread public visibility to the government agency, product, or service
  • Effectiveness illustrated by measurable objectives and subsequent evaluation methods
  • Commitment to ongoing marketing activities and awareness
The judges reserve the right not to issue an award should no submission prove worthy of recognition.
